David practices in the area of commercial litigation.
Background
During law school, David worked in the Natural Resources Division of the Attorney General's Office and was an extern for the Honorable Michael C. Hayden of the King County Superior Court. David was also a member of the University of Washington's team at the Jessup International Law National Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C. in 2006, where he won Best Speaker. David's team also won the Regional Competition in Austin, TX, and was awarded First-Place Brief.
Representative Cases
- Tidewater Cove Condominiums v. Tidewater Cove LLC: Represented the association in all phases of its transition from developer control, including successful lawsuits by the association against the developer for recovery of parking spaces improperly retained by the developer and to impose responsibility on the developer (and avoid association responsibility) for cleanup and continued monitoring of environmental contamination of soil and groundwater; currently prosecuting construction defect claims against developer and 25 subcontractors
- Miles v. Shanghai Zhenhua: Representing children of deceased longshoreman in wrongful-death action arising from defective crane
- Hunters Ridge Condominiums v. Sherwood Crossing, LLC and E.A. White Construction Co., LLC: Prosecuting claims for construction defects and developer malfeasance
