Shoes
Thanksgiving Day 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM The Hall at
Fauntleroy It is Thanksgiving eve and the kitchen is
buzzing with activity at The Hall at Fauntleroy, but the
energy is a little different than it is on the usual business
day. On this day and the day to follow, all of the busy
hands are volunteering their time to create and serve a free
community meal. Who is invited...everyone! Since 1998
Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes has opened their dining room at The
Hall at Fauntleroy to a diverse guest list of
about 200 people each year. Some people come from the
street to warm up and have a much needed meal. Some come
from their warm homes to share conversation. Some come alone,
some bring the whole family. The reasons for coming are
as different as the individual guests, but everyone
leaves full of delicious food and with a renewed sense of
community. It is with open hearts that Tuxedos and Tennis
Shoes invites the greater West Seattle community to their
home, The Hall at Faunleroy. Join them Thanksgiving Day
from noon to 3pm. Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes is blessed with
enough volunteers this year and would gratefully accept
assistance in the form of donated new and gently used coats,
hats, gloves or homemade cookies, pie or whipped cream. For
more information please contact Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes at
206-932-1059 ext. 302. 8th Annual Community Thanksgiving Meal @ The
